T'was The Night Before Christmas Christmas Light Contest
T'was The Lights Before Christmas is a community lighting contest. There are 4 categories in which to compete:

Reason for the Season - Religious
Themed - Santa, elfs, candy canes, etc.
Business - Be a local business
CPRPD Staff will judge Wednesday night Dec. 18th after 5pm. Registration will be due before Dec115th at 4pm. Winners will be announced Dec 18th. Winners will receive a $50 gift card and winning businesses will earn a special collaboration.
Registration is $10.

Adult Indoor Soccer
CPRPD is excited to announce the return of indoor soccer at Serpilio hall starting this winter. Registration now open for adult indoor soccer for ages 16+. Starting mid-December on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5pm - 8pm, pick up games will form daily and league teams can practice through December with games starting January and running for 8 weeks. Registration is $75 per person for the season and is required for league play. Daily play rates will apply for unregistered drop-in players.

Winter Pickleball
Winter Pickleball is held at Serpilio Hall at the Plumas County Fair Grounds. There are now 4 courts available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 12pm. 11:00 to 12pm is meant for new beginners to come learn and practice the game. This is a fun group of folks looking for a little exercise, a little competition and a whole lot of fun. Registration is $250 and will last until May 1st when we move outside for the Summer. There is a $50 per month registration as well. Sign up today! We're also offering a Wednesday evening session for those nights owls who want to get some court time, registration is $150 for the entire season.
Adult Basketball
Registration now open for '25 adult basketball league which begins early January and runs for 8 weeks. Games are played on Saturday's in the Quincy High School gymnasium. Open to men and women ages 20 and up. Pre-registration per player is $30 and is required prior to the program start date.
Youth Basketball
REGISTRATION FOR GRADES 3-8 OPENED OCTOBER 7TH. LATE SIGN-UPS BEGAN TUESDAY NOV. 5TH WITH A $15 LATE FEE.
Offered to boys and girls 3rd through 8th grade. The season usually runs mid-November through February and practice is generally one to two days per week. The registration fee for 3rd/4th is $55 per child and 5th-8th grade is $70 per child. All practices are at the Quincy High School gym. 5th-8th grade teams will play in a county-wide league with some travel required. Pre-registration is required. Call 283-3278 for more information.
7th and 8th graders attending Plumas Christian School, Plumas Charter school, Quincy independent study or home schooling can register to join the league.

Adult Dodgeball
Registration now open for 2024 Adult dodgeball for ages 16+ and will close November 30. The league will have scheduled practice times for 2 weeks followed by 8 weeks of games. Registration is $40 per person and is required prior to program start date.
Yoga
Registrations open soon for Senior Chair Yoga. Available for all ages but customized for the golden generation, chair yoga offers gradually developing yoga sessions that are designed to improve flexibility, mobility, range of motion, core strength and relaxation. Registration is $60 for six weekly sessions

Aquatics
Pioneer Pool is located at Pioneer Park in East Quincy. The pool is open Mondays through Fridays from 3:00 - 5:00 (public swim) and 5:00 - 7:00 (family swim). Saturday's are available for party rentals between the hours of 10 AM and 7 PM. The pool opens June 17th and will be open through August 16th for a wide variety of swim activities. Both private and group swim lessons are offered from levels 1 through 6 plus Parent/Tot. Two nine-day group lesson sessions are offered at separate times during the summer. Family swim passes may be purchased for up to 6 members at $125.
QUINCY ONLY - Fall Youth Soccer
The Fall youth soccer program runs late August through October. Teams generally practice twice a week with most games on Saturday mornings. Soccer is available to the following age groups: Pre-K, U6, U8, U10, U12, and U14. The U12 and U14 Divisions play in a county-wide league with some travel required. Summer Soccer Camp
2024 Summer soccer camp will be July 22-25, 9 AM to 12 PM for ages 8-14 and 10 AM to 12 Pm for ages 5-7 at Feather River College. CPRPD partners with local soccer leaders to provide fundamental soccer instruction and gameplay for ages 5 to 14. The cost of the program is $55 for 5 to 7 year-old's and $75 for 8 to 17 year-old's. PORTOLA ONLY - Fall Youth Soccer
In an effort to assist the continuation of youth soccer in the Portola area, CPRPD is offering "out of district" registration for the fall youth soccer program. Soccer is available to the following age groups: U6, U8, U10, U12, and U14. The U12 and U14 Divisions play in a county-wide league with some travel required. Adult Softball
The league features men's, women's and two co-ed divisions for players over 18 years of age. Games are played one to two times a week at either Gansner Park or Feather River College softball fields, beginning May 2nd and the season runs through mid-August. Men's Division plays on Tuesday's, Women's on Wednesday's, and Co-Ed on Monday's and Thursday's. Pre-registration is required- use the buttons below to register for your respective divisions. YOUTH WRESTLING
The youth wrestling program begins the first week of February and ends in April. Kids in 3rd-8th Grade may participate. Practices are every Mondays and Wednesday in the Round Room at Quincy Junior-Senior High School. 3rd-8th Graders practice from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Registration for the program is $30
Summer Tennis Lessons
CPRPD is pleased to bring back tennis lessons in 2024! Beginning July 3rd, and running for the consecutive 6 Wednesdays to follow. With 2 age groups to choose from, your student is sure to have an awesome time brushing up their skills this summer!

Monday Night Golf Scrambles
CPRPD partners with Plumas Pines Golf Resort in the summer months to offer a weekly 9 hole scramble at reduced rates of $35 w/cart and $20 for walkers. Weekly winners will receive a prize. The 9 hole scramble generally takes place every Monday at 5 PM throughout the summer. We will provide an update when this program is offered again.
Johnsville Jr. Ski Team
Offers ski racing for 1st through 8th grade boys and girls from January through March. CPRPD registration Form fee is $35.00. Additional Auburn Ski Club fee, Boreal Ski pass, and lift ticket costs for 6-8 races are not included. Sign-up today! Elementary Strings
This program is available to school aged youths regardless of skill level. Ms. Johny McDonald is the program instructor and all classes are held at Quincy Elementary School. Registration is required through Ms. McDonald. Registration fee is $45.00/month plus musical instrument rental.
Plumas Swim Team
Open to boys and girls 1st through 8th grade. Sign ups occur in April/May with practices beginning in early June. Swim team members participate in approximately five swim meets including the Quincy Invitational Meet in July.
