Programs and Activities
Aquatics
Pioneer Pool is located at Pioneer Park in East Quincy. The pool is open Mondays through Fridays from 3:00 - 5:00 for public swim and 5:00 - 7:00 for family swim. Saturday's are available for party rentals between the hours of 10 AM and 7 PM. The pool opens June 16th and will be open through August 15th for a wide variety of swim activities. Both private and group swim lessons are offered from levels 1 through 6 plus Parent/Tot. Two nine-day group lesson sessions are offered at separate times during the summer. Family swim passes may be purchased for up to 6 members at $125.



Adult Softball League
BRING A TEAM AND BRING SOME JOY!!!
The 2025 league features men's, women's, co-ed divisions for ages 16 and up. Games are played one to two times a week at either Gansner Park or Feather River College softball fields, beginning June 2nd and the season runs through mid-August. Men's Division plays on Tuesday's, Women's on Wednesday's, and Co-Ed on Monday's and Thursday's, makeup games on Friday's. Registration is required For more info call 283-3278.

Winter Pickleball ~ Summer
Winter Pickleball is heading outdoors starting May 5th and registration is closed. However, drop-ins are still welcome Monday, Wednesday and Friday with the daily rate of $10.
Summer Pickleball registration is now open. Games will be held at FRC in the former tennis court area on the southern side of Golden Eagle road from 9-11am Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Drop by for $5/hr or register for the entire season for $25. Season registration is good from May 5th to Oct 31st.

Chair Yoga makes it's return to Serpilio Hall!. These one-hour classes, designed for seniors and conducted by certified instructor, Vicki Poh, will be held Sundays from 9-10am beginning March 30th. These sessions are designed for gradual growth and can be attended by any fitness level.

Youth Indoor Soccer
CPRPD is excited to announce the return of youth indoor soccer at Serpilio hall. Registration now open for ages 7-14. Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5pm - 7pm, teams for pick up games will form daily. Registration is $75 per person for the 8-week season and a $10 daily play rate will apply for unregistered drop-in players.

Johnsville Jr. Ski Team
Offers ski racing for 1st through 8th grade boys and girls from January through March. CPRPD registration fee is $35.00. Additional Auburn Ski Club fee, Boreal Ski pass, and lift ticket costs for 6-8 races are not included but scholarships are available for all boreal passes! Senior Rec Center
Serpilio Hall is open from 9am-11am Tuesdays and Thursdays for Senior Walk-about. Available for free to our retired and senior communities, we offer a warm, dry place to get light exercise or recreate with others. Ping pong, foosball, card games, board games and simple art supplies are also available during the walk-about.

Summer Tennis Lessons
CPRPD is pleased to bring back tennis lessons in 2024! Beginning July 3rd, and running for the consecutive 6 Wednesdays to follow. With 2 age groups to choose from, your student is sure to have an awesome time brushing up their skills this summer!

Monday Night Golf Scrambles
CPRPD partners with Plumas Pines Golf Resort in the summer months to offer a weekly 9 hole scramble at reduced rates of $35 w/cart and $20 for walkers. Weekly winners will receive a prize. The 9 hole scramble generally takes place every Monday at 5 PM throughout the summer. We will provide an update when this program is offered again.
Elementary Strings
This program is available to school aged youths regardless of skill level. Ms. Johny McDonald is the program instructor and all classes are held at Quincy Elementary School. Registration is required through Ms. McDonald. Registration fee is $45.00/month plus musical instrument rental.
Plumas Swim Team
Open to boys and girls 1st through 8th grade. Sign ups occur in April/May with practices beginning in early June. Swim team members participate in approximately five swim meets including the Quincy Invitational Meet in July.
