Life Guard

Join CPRPD's Life Guard summer staff. Hiring for life guards and Lead Guard for 2025 season from June to Aug.
Certification for new hires is mandatory and will be held on Memorial Day Weekend May 23rd -25th.

Softball Umpire

CPRPD needs umpires like you to see the play and make the call. Responsibilities include set up/store equipment, checking player rosters, inspecting bats, score reporting and calling it like you see it.
Games are held weeknights, typically from 5-7 and can be scheduled based on ump availability. 
Application Requirements

The following procedures apply to all applicants to be considered for a position with the Central Plumas Recreation and Park District.
  1. An applicant must submit a fully completed C.P.R.P.D. application that is signed and dated in ink.  
  2. An applicant must submit their completed application so that it arrives at the District by the filing deadline indicated on the employment opportuninty.  
  3. A post mark date of mailing will not be accepted in lieu of receipt at District by filing deadline.
  4. A resume may be attached to the completed application.  Applications containing sections filled with "see resume" will not be accepted.
  5. Applications may be delivered to the C.P.R.P.D. office, or by postmark to P.O. Box 1551, Quincy, CA   95971.  Emailed applications will not be accepted.
