Application Requirements

The following procedures apply to all applicants to be considered for a position with the Central Plumas Recreation and Park District.
  1. An applicant must submit a fully completed C.P.R.P.D. application that is signed and dated in ink.  
  2. An applicant must submit their completed application so that it arrives at the District by the filing deadline indicated on the employment opportuninty.  
  3. A post mark date of mailing will not be accepted in lieu of receipt at District by filing deadline.
  4. A resume may be attached to the completed application.  Applications containing sections filled with "see resume" will not be accepted.
  5. Applications may be delivered to the C.P.R.P.D. office, or by postmark to P.O. Box 1551, Quincy, CA   95971.  Emailed applications will not be accepted.
Current Openings

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM COORDINATOR: $17.50 per hour. 24hr per week. Follows the PUSD school schedule.

DESCRIPTION:  Located in the Feather River region of the Sierra Nevada mountains (clean air, low crime and year-round outdoor sports), the District is seeking an intelligent, motivated and diversely skilled individual to plan, coordinate and implement a wide variety of programs for 1st – 5th grade students.  Strong emphasis placed on organization, youth programming, and engaging activities.  Incumbent also will assist with a variety of facility care and maintenance tasks, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:  The typical candidate will possess the equivalent of an A.A. degree (or higher) in community child development field, and at least three years or more in a related field, valid C.D.L., strong knowledge of youth education.  Position requires excellent oral/written skills, emotional maturity, strong organization skills, and a good work ethic.
